Mamm-Key goats live on a five acre ranch at elevation of
about 6500 feet. Alpines love the snow, rock and hills. The
kids are raised on pasteurized milk and heat treated
colostrum. All kids are dehorned. We take much pride in
health. We are CAE, TB, Johne's, CL and Brucellosis
Free.
Our goal is to raise healthy goats that will produce a
reasonable quantity of milk. We have heavy producers that
are also high quality show goats. Reaching for a reputation
of some of the best dairy goats in the U.S... We look at all
the areas of the dairy goat when developing our breeding
program. General appearance is always very important because
it includes the areas of head, back and feet, which means
longer lives. We are most interested in improving the
mammary systems, while keeping our dairy character. Our herd
has wonderful body capacity.
To
order, please send a first, second and third choice along
with a $50 deposit. We will take orders on a first deposit,
first served basis. All shipping fees, which include kennel
cost , and shipping, health certificate and air fare are the
buyer's responsibility. You can ship your kennel to us or
you can send us the money to buy one here for you. Please
check with your airline company for weight, size and
location limits. Grand Junction is our closest airport. We
will charge for additional travel if we have to drive to
another airport. We are willing to drive halfway, for .50
cents a mile, if travel is reasonable.
We reserve the right to not offer a kid for sale. If your
first choice is not available, we will transfer your deposit
to your second choice. We will notify you if your first and
second choice are not available and will let you decide on
transferring your deposit to your third choice, another
choice or refund.
Let this be a written agreement that you will not sell or
market any semen, for AI, from any buck purchased directly
from us without written consent from Mamm-Key Alpine Dairy
Goats, LLC.
We will work with anyone when it comes to finances, so
please let us know if this is the reason for not ordering a
kid from us.
Once a doe is a finished champion we do not keep showing
her. We spend our energy and time on a doe that is not
finished. When showing kids or dry yearlings once they
receive their dry leg we do not show them for the rest of
the year. If we have room in the trailer we will take a doe
or buck for champion challenge.
